NO FHA LOANS IN TALEGA

Recently REALTORS® and lenders were delivered some disappointing news from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regarding communities that have a “community enhancement fee” or “Lifestyle Fee.” HUD decided to enforce a rule that has been around since 1994, which stated private transfer or other transfer fees are not authorized. As a result, effective immediately, lenders will not be able to close FHA and government-backed loans in Talega. This also affects the community of Ladera Ranch. HUD has not enforced its own regulation for over 10 years in Ladera Ranch and Talega; but, unless they reverse the decision, purchase money loans will no longer be insured or purchased by
